Last week, Trade Partners Sweden and Stockholm Fashion District took part in an important high-level meeting with Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, Benjamin Dousa, and Minister for Culture, Parisa Liljestrand, at Oscar Jacobson’s headquarters.
At the meeting, our CEO Helena Waker, together with Richard Woodbridge, CEO of Oscar Jacobson, presented the fashion industry’s efforts to strengthen Swedish exports and sustainability. John-Jamal Gille, Project Director at the Association of Swedish Fashion Brands, also contributed to the discussions.

The Swedish fashion industry, generating SEK 188 billion* annually and employing 44,000 people*, continues to demonstrate its strength through both creativity and business acumen. The dialogue between the government and the industry will continue in order to further strengthen Sweden’s position on the international fashion scene.
