Report on the needs of The European Creativity-Driven Fashion Industry 2025 presented in Berlin

In November, our CEO Helena Waker visited Berlin, where the European Fashion Alliance, of which we at Stockholm Fashion District are proud members, held its annual meeting and presented this year’s comprehensive report on the needs of “The European Creativity-Driven Fashion Industry”.

As part of the meeting, the European Fashion Alliance highlighted its work as the collective voice for Europe’s creativity-driven fashion industry. Founded in 2022, EFA unites fashion institutions and organizations across Europe to support a sustainable, innovative, and competitive sector. With a strong focus on the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises, the alliance connects industry insights with key EU policy agendas and drives forward collaborative development.

The insights gathered through EFA’s work, including this year’s in-depth survey with 211 industry representatives and a series of expert interviews, are brought together in the newly released report. It offers a clear overview of the needs, challenges, and opportunities facing Europe’s creativity-driven fashion sector, with a strong focus on how the EU can better support small and medium-sized enterprises, drive innovation, and strengthen the industry’s sustainable and competitive future.
