We work a lot with our sustainability strategy – WE CARE. Rudholm Group strives to have a positive impact on people, resources and the environment, by driving sustainable change for the present and future generations. We have three pillars that guide our daily work under the sustainability strategy, these focus on our key areas, PEOPLE | PLACE | PRODUCT. Each of these pillars addresses who we are as a company and how we work to achieve these goals. We produce products in a more climate-friendly way. This means emphasizing environmental considerations in the materials we use and their origin, design, manufacturing process, assembly, distribution, end-of-life and disposal. We are dedicated to ensuring our products meet high environmental, social and anti-corruption standards. Using both digital and physical solutions, Rudholm Group aims for a circular economy by 2030. All our products must be manufactured from recyclable materials and must be able to be recycled, we work with biodegradable raw materials and where manufacturing uses less water, and chemicals and leave less produce waste.
Rudholm Group is one of the founders of the Swedish Textile Initiative for Climate Action (STICA). This has meant that we collect data from all our offices and factories, across Scopes 1, 2 and 3 annually. Based on this, we create realistic, time-bound plans and measures to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions globally called the Rudholm Roadmap. We try to produce as close to our customers’ production suppliers as possible, this includes 10 Rudholm-owned production hubs with local production and warehouses based on important textile-producing markets.
What do you think are the most essential ingredients to succeed in what you do?
An important ingredient in our success is the relationships we have with our PEOPLE, i.e. our workforce, customers and our production partners. Another strength we have is that we have exclusive rights as distributors of 3M Thinsulate, FIDLOCK, AMANN and HD Wool. Our flexibility is also a strong advantage, we can make quick changes to meet the special needs of our customers and the market. Rudholm is a creative and solution-driven company that works closely together with our partners.
What does your industry look like today and how do you see the development going forward?
Rudholm Group believes that digital technology is part of the future and to continue developing circular and sustainable methods. We have recently assembled a separate digital development team of ten people working with the latest software development technologies and tools to ensure that every installation is future-proof. We add to our clients’ branding and build traceability and transparency for end consumers. We focus on understanding our customers and their needs and work together to develop systems. Some of our systems are Rudholm Production, Rudholm e-commerce and ShareLabel. We want to help minimize manual work, and errors and optimize digital and operational processes. We listen, recommend solutions, and develop and integrate. The future is with speed and integrations.
