Stockholm Fashion District always work inclusive and, together with important organizations and stakeholders in our network, we assign selected companies and brands recognition for a performance that can be a product, a project or equivalent. The award should also be seen as an encouragement to continue on the entered path. In this way, we want to participate in creating awareness and bring attention to important ideas in sustainability in our industry.
ACADEMIC FRAMEWORK
Philip Warkander, Doctor of Fashion Science at Stockholm University, is the author of the preface that gives a direction to our starting point for what sustainability in the fashion industry entails.

A curated exhibition of the nominees and with examples from the industries of fashion, footwear and textile that is based on the 17 global sustainability goals will be presented during the fashion week in the Stockholm Fashion District in August 2019.
